The City of Taylor has scheduled a Digital Infrastructure Community Meeting for August 25 as officials work through land-development rules and utility planning tied to the city’s growing data-center footprint.
The city says representatives and consultants will provide updates and take public input on three areas: land-development-code updates, proposed code changes for digital infrastructure, and water and wastewater resource planning. The meeting is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Main Street Event Center.

Taylor is no longer considering data centers one project at a time.
